WHO WE ARE

We are pionneers, craftmen, engineers, designers, shapers

Drawing is first and foremost a manual act. It is the work of the designer, the craftman, the shaper, who, with precise gestures, imagines the shape, designs the curves, and draws the lines that will become boards.

Our work

Hexa was born from a simple belief: performance begins with a line.
A line imagined by the designer, shaped by the craftsman, refined by the engineer.
A line that defines motion, guides the glide and opens new trajectories.

At Hexa, we combine precision engineering, refined design and industrial mastery to create advanced Surf, Kite and Foil boards built to redefine the riding experience.

Our culture

At our headquarters in Anglet, on the Atlantic coast, you will find a team of passionate builders, designers and riders.
At Hexa, we move forward with purpose, using the sea as our training ground. We share the same passion, surfing, kitesurfing, foiling and often, the day begins on the water before continuing in the workshop.

Those who design are also those who ride. Designers, engineers, shapers, riders: our movements on the waves fuel our precision at work. We draw lines that matter, guided by rigor, sustainability, and the desire to go further. Here, each board is designed with high standards, humility, and commitment, sculpted by those who live the sport as much as they invent it.

We don’t just craft boards.
We create lines that transform the ride.

SYLVAIN

CO-FOUNDER

_ With a background in engineering and a lifelong passion for surfing, Sylvain Fleury co-founded Hexa to address a clear industrial challenge: redefining board manufacturing through precision technology and controlled engineering.

LEO

CO-FOUNDER

_ Engineer, rider and builder, Léo Bouffier explores material to reveal its motion. At Hexa, he shapes a sensitive form of engineering where every detail matters and every line carries intention. He designs the structures that make the ride more precise & durable.

Our values

Drawing the line is more than a gesture.
It is a method, a vision, a discipline.

Every curve is treated as a hydrodynamic or aerodynamic signature.
Every geometry is analyzed, tested and optimized.
Every detail, from rocker to rails to inserts,
serves a clear functional and performance-driven purpose.

Innovation, for us, lives in the balance between:
•  Scientific rigor  •  Designer intuition  •  Craftsmen sensibility  •  Aesthetic clarity

Behind every Hexa board lies a balance of scientific rigor and creative intuition.
We don’t follow standards: we redraw them.

INSPIRE OTHERS
INSPIRE OTHERS

Our goal is to inspire people to surf, glide and ride.

Driven by a commitment to constant innovation, we support our partners by devising increasingly bold and sustainable solutions.  Every product we design is created to exceed expectations, with high standards and sincerity. We manufacture boards to improve the lives of those who use them, while working rigorously to limit our impact on the environment.

Environment

SUSTAINABILITY

At Hexa, innovation only makes sense if it lasts. From the design stage onwards, we incorporate optimized, responsible materials, processes that reduce waste and energy consumption, and reinforced architecture to extend the life of our products. Build better, impact less: our ambition is to create boards of excellence while preserving our playground, the ocean.

MATERIALS

Bio-based by design _ smaller footprint

Our boards use ~70% bio-based content (core + skins + bio-epoxy options), combining plant-derived polymers and bio-based epoxy systems to cut embodied carbon by at least 40% vs. a classic PU surfboard.

Made local, with European materials.

Boards are made in France (EU) with European-made filament and epoxy formulated in France (e.g., Sicomin GreenPoxy ranges with 51% bio-based carbon), cutting transport distances and aligning supply with where we build and ride. Reducing long-haul freight is a proven lever to shrink a product’s logistics footprint.

Built to last, easy to service.

A reinforced, high-strength core and tough skins are engineered for durability; if a ding lets water in, the board can be drained and repaired to extend service life. (Design-for-repair is a recognized lever for impact reduction.)

Low waste manufacturing.

Our Additive process keeps off-cuts and sanding to a minimum— under 1 kg of waste per board, whereas standard PU builds generate ~6 kg.

Planet

SUSTAINABLE

As pioneers of conscious surfing, we chart our course where innovation goes hand in hand with preservation. From our first prototypes made from recycled materials to each board designed with tomorrow in mind, we are shaping the future with respect for life.

People

CRAFTMEN

Everything we create bears the mark of those who imagine it. Designers, engineers, shapers, riders: their expertise resonates in every printed curve, in every fibre designed to embrace the sea. High-precision craftsmanship, fuelled by passion and innovation. We don't follow the movement, we design it. But beyond the technology, there is you. Whether you ride for a moment or a lifetime, you are at the heart of everything we do.

Product

INNOVATION

It is the combination of science, innovation and experience that gives each printed structure its credibility. Behind every curve and every honeycomb lies intelligent design and patient craftsmanship. Each board is a score of material, calibrated with almost organic precision.
Nothing is left to chance, everything is designed to last, to perform, to protect. Forged in the memory of ancient knowledge, our boards carry within them the promise of time. They offer much more than a moment of gliding: they tell a story, they extend a commitment.

Elevate the riding experience.
Elevate industry standards.
Elevate what a board can be.

Hexa is made for those who don’t simply follow the wave but aim to redefine it.
For demanding riders, visionary brands, athletes and designers seeking more than equipment: precision materials capable of elevating their performance.
